Overview

Craft-ultrafast is an announced, most-efficient variant of Canva Craft — Canva's first in-house image-generation model. Canva unveiled it on 22 October 2026 alongside a second, faster variant, Craft-fast.

At announcement, both variants were described as in development and set to be released soon. Canva published no release date, pricing, or detailed specifications (speed, resolution, modalities) for the Craft-ultrafast variant.

The base Canva Craft model uses a two-stage process (first a design plan, then an image up to 2K) and is available globally. Craft-ultrafast is positioned as its cheapest, fastest version, below Craft-fast.
