The company specialises in developing multimodal foundation models capable of processing and generating text, audio, images, video, and music. Its principal products include the MiniMax M2.7 text models and earlier generations (MiniMax-01, MiniMax-M1), the Hailuo 02 and Hailuo 2.3 video models, the Speech 2.6 speech model, and the consumer applications Talkie (an AI character chatbot popular in Western markets) and Xingye (its Chinese-market counterpart). The MiniMax API platform makes these models available to developers and enterprises globally. MiniMax listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) on 9 January 2026 under the ticker 00100.HK, becoming one of the first Chinese AI companies to go public. Prior to its IPO, the company raised approximately $850 million across private funding rounds from investors including Alibaba, Tencent, miHoYo, IDG Capital, Hillhouse Investment, HongShan, and Yunqi Partners. Revenue for 2025 totalled $79 million, representing 159% year-on-year growth, with over 70% derived from international markets.
