Ouster, Inc. is an American technology company headquartered in San Francisco, California, designing and producing high-resolution digital 3D lidar sensors. Founded in 2015 by Angus Pacala and Mark Frichtl, the company went public on the NYSE in March 2021 through a merger with Colonnade Acquisition (a SPAC), and later listed on Nasdaq under the ticker OUST. In February 2023, Ouster completed an all-stock merger with Velodyne Lidar, with the combined company retaining the Ouster name. Its sensors are used in autonomous vehicles, robotics, drones, mapping, defense systems, and smart-infrastructure applications. Main product lines include the OS0, OS1, OS2 families and the latest REV8 generation (OS1 Max, OS1, OS0, OSDome).
