Foundation Future Industries, Inc. is a private robotics startup headquartered in San Francisco, founded in May 2024 by Sankaeth Pathak (CEO, previously founder and CEO of Synapse), Arjun Sethi (CEO of Tribe Capital), and Mike LeBlanc (US Marine Corps veteran, co-founder of Cobalt Robotics). The company develops general-purpose humanoid robots designed for industrial and defense applications. Its flagship product is the Phantom MK-1 — a bipedal robot standing 180 cm tall, powered by the Cortex AI system. In December 2024, the company acquired Boardwalk Robotics of Pensacola, FL. It holds research contracts with the US Army, Navy, and Air Force totaling $24 million under SBIR Phase III. In March 2026, Eric Trump became a strategic advisor and investor in the company.
